Julie Andrews is singing in my head as I write this blog post. I love the song, Favorite Things. I am in the mood to share my favorite things with you.
Let’s get this started!
A Nice Cuppa
A good cup of tea gets me in a cozy, mellow mood. Earl Grey with breakfast. Peppermint for moments when I need a refreshing note on my palate. Chai tea when I want a getaway in a cup. I try not to be picky with my selections.
Coffee. Of course! Anytime! I am a Starbucks lover. Let’s just get this out of the way, shall we? Hehe. So, I am hooked on java because it gives me a great start to my day. Cold brews with vanilla and sweet foam are enticing. Pair that with a good book and I am set.
Computer In My Pocket
My Samsung Galaxy Note Ultra 20 goes everywhere I go. I call it my mini computer. It is functional and suits my beautiful, chaotic existence. The S pen is a plus.
My Kindle is a must have if I am ever stranded on a deserted island. My library has quite the mix of classics and contemporary pieces. As a writer, I believe in being open to various writing styles.
My Bombas socks are like a warm hug for my feet. I will admit that I am cold while others have been hot.
From My Wanderings
A souvenir from Paris. One of my favorite Disney Pixar characters, Remy.
This phone booth, which doubles as a coin box, is one of my souvenirs from Windsor, England.
I got bitten by the Funko bug. There’s my leaning tower of Funkos. It is a mix of my favorite characters from Star Wars, Marvel and a few tv characters of interest.
My DVD collection of Pride and Prejudice starring the only Mr. Darcy in my universe, Colin Firth. BBC knows how to do it best!
Love Knows makes the list. It sits on my bookshelf as a constant reminder that nothing is impossible. Persistence despite the odds. Another reason: I had a great time creating a world for Seth and Rachel. I am still nursing thoughts about a spin off.
A note: I have received no compensation for any products listed in this post.
