Spring season is here! Today is the first day of Spring! Forgive me if I am being repetitive. Winter has its charms, but spring gives us so much expectation.

Don’t you think?

Soon enough we will put away the sweaters, stop shovelling the walkways, stop brushing away snow from our cars. All we have to look forward to now is the latest spring offerings from Starbucks and sales from our favorite stores. Oh, and did I forget? Easter Bunny time. , throw on shorts, bathing suits, etc.

This is the time we could think about trying new things. This is about renewal, rebirth and rejuvenation.

“Spring is the time of plans and projects.”

Leo Tolstoy, Anna Karenina

“Those who contemplate the beauty of the earth find reserves of strength that will endure as long as life lasts. There is something infinitely healing in the repeated refrains of nature — the assurance that dawn comes after night, and spring after winter.”

Rachel Carson (Silent Spring)
