So … Day 4 was…

I really do not know. I can say that I managed to write way less than yesterday. With all of the other obligations on my plate today, writing had to take a backseat.

However, I did not want to let the day end without some effort.

Total word count: 624 words.

Given the busyness today, I am okay with this number.

Here’s The Proof

Rosalind was gently persuaded by her father travel with her mother to Saint Lucia. She is still trying to process the fact that her mother refused to speak to her about her family in Saint Lucia. Days later, she’s attends the funeral for her patient. Ollie knows she hates funerals and decides to pick her up for dinner after work.

On her way to work, she gets a text from her friend Nicola that there was a big meeting at the hospital concerning the closure of the Pediatric Oncology Wing. She stopped by the coffee shop and ran into Benedict, her newlywed ex. The meeting is awkward but she managed to be civil.

The meeting at the hospital is in progress. By the end of the week, healthcare workers at the Pediatric Oncology Wing will be terminated. Rosalind tells Nicola about the trip to Saint Lucia. She prefers to resign rather than sit through the whole process.

To Be Continued…

I have interesting plans for Rosalind tomorrow. She will come face to face with her antagonist. I don’t think she will be ready. Hey, I don’t know if I am ready.

Tomorrow then,
