Writers need to show, not tell. Not as easy as it sounds. At least in the conception stage.
It’s a daily mantra.
Blogging is a joy for me because I get to dig deep and allow my creative juices to flow. Whenever I draft a blog post, I am challenging myself.
Writing every day no matter the exercise sharpens the brain. Our abilities improve at the stroke of the pen and the click of the keyboard.
How do I deal with writer’s block?
Frustrating isn’t it? I walk away from the material, watch a movie, listen to a radio show or I journal about my anguish.
Finding time to write is difficult given life obligations. Within the 24-hour cycle, carve out an hour to take care of yourself and your writing pursuits. Fifteen minute blocks are a great strategy.
Good writers write every day.
